Raw and Living food Staples for the kitchen

Raw and living foods do not have to be complicated or too time consuming, but there are a few staples that can make things a lot easier. Preparing foods should not be overly time consuming and if you keep it simple, you can avoid being in the kitchen all day, everyday. Some people love the whole process…like me. Here is a short list of things I stock in my kitchen:

Raw Seeds (can’t keep nuts in the house because a food allergic child):

  • Sunflower seeds
  • Pumpkin seeds

  • Amaranth

Raw dried fruits (no sulfur)

I’ll try to add to this list as I go along. Not everything on these lists are necessary all the time, but I like to have them around for my recipes.
