You’re welcome! We’ve been experimenting with other kinds of homemade laundry detergent and we’ve tweaked a new one that is also amazing. Its not a powder, but a gel.

Hi Melissa,

I felt horrible, but it seems that some of the tomato plants are making a recovery. They look ugly, but they are starting to stand back up. Tough little bitches! LOL

The beans…UGH! As soon as we get a super duper hot plate or propane stand, we’ll start using the pressure cooker to make beans. We have a glass top, and with the All American pressure cooker, they don’t recommend that surface at all.
Those beans do still smell in certain rooms. Every time we put clean clothes on Simone, the smell is there. I just don’t have the time to wash every single piece of clothing that was already clean…again.

Our week continues to get better…and yes, I can’t wait till the harvest’s sweet goodness!

Oh no! First, I am so sorry about your seedlings!!! The winds have been insane up here…I’m sure they’ve been even worse for you! You’re right though…the ones that survived should continue to survive and will be your strongest! I hope that some of them will make it with a little TLC

Second, how awful about the beans! I can imagine the smell is terrible I wish I had an answer for you to take the smell away…probably keeping the windows and doors open is your best bet…as long as the wind chills out.

I hope your week is getting better!!! Remember that it will all be worth it in a couple of months…The harvests will be that much sweeter in the end

Thanks Melissa! We’re pretty amazed that it happened in such great timing. There are so many things going on around here that I thought it would be at least another year before we could.

We incorporated through Legalzoom.com, and if it wasn’t for the payment plan they offer, we wouldn’t have been able to do the Express Gold LLC.
