Today I thought I’d do a photo journal of our life yesterday afternoon.
I’ve never done this before, so let me preface it with this; Dom was building the chicken coop addition onto the side of the rabbitry, my dad came to be of help as Dom built the coop, Simone was there for the cuteness factor, Noah was doing dishes and then came out to help Dom with the coop also.
All in all it was a very productive and busy afternoon!
So here we go, “Three Hours in the Life of Us”:
In this last photo Dom is making sure the coop is level before adding the legs.
When the coop is finished, it will have four nesting boxes located on the right side of the coop, a door will be added as well as a ramp. Another 2×4 will be added to the front before the door goes in and that will be used as the stopper for our deep bed in the coop.
Behind the coop to the left is an outlet, so when we get our Salmon Faverolles and silkies, we can put a brooding light right in this coop. By that time our three chickens will go into their chicken tractor where they will spend the rest of their beautiful long chicken lives.

How Fun. Tell your husband the bunny houses and coop are looking great. The little one is adorable and so are those furry little bunnies of yours….and the duck too.:)
